Forever Family Day

We're getting really excited for TOMORROW!!!  !  Yay!  It's just now starting to strike me as how important this day is!  The second most important day of our lives!  It's essentially like our wedding day - the day we become united as a family :)


So, it's a good thing that we have some family in Cali to celebrate with us!  Hubby's dad is in from Alabama, hubby's sister is taking the day off work to be there with her son, and hubby's mom will be there too to help us celebrate!  It's too bad that my family can't be here, but I'll know they'll be celebrating with me from Texas!  (My mom was unable to make it due to a post cancer screening appointment at MD Anderson with my step-dad).  It was just too far for anyone else to come.

Court time is set for 10:30 AM.    We'll be in the courtroom in front of a judge with other adoptive families.  The judge will call the families into his chambers one by one and decree it.  When we leave, littleA will have our last name and his birth certificate will show us as his parents! (Well, they said it might take a few months to actually get the birth certificate, but everything will be legally so) then we'll all go out to lunch somewhere special.

I hope to get some good photos!  I have a cute little suit for littleA to wear (we don't have to dress up; but since it's a special occasion we want to).  I'll post a few pics to commemorate everything being official!  WOO HOO
